You’re invited … to enjoy great tastes for a great cause!
Augusta’s restaurant scene is booming and a brand-new event—Walton Restaurant Week—gives you the opportunity to experience our leading dining destinations!
Walton Restaurant Week (August 14 to 21, 2017) showcases great local tastes and helps raise funds for an important need: Seniors and people living with disabilities right here in the CSRA, through programs and services offered at Walton Foundation for Independence and other like-minded agencies.
Here’s How It Works
Each participating restaurant will offer a special multicourse Restaurant Week menu for lunch, dinner or both—available at a fixed price. Just make a reservation online or call and ask for the Walton Restaurant Week menu when you arrive: It’s that simple. A portion of each meal cost goes to support our benefiting charities.
Walton Restaurant Week isn’t just a week of enjoying great food from restaurants you may have never tried before; it’s also a fundraiser that helps people with disabilities and seniors live, work and play successfully in the CSRA. It’s a great cause!
Funds from WRW go directly to programs at the Walton Foundation for Independence and other organizations with our same mission: to help people with disabilities and seniors throughout Richmond, Columbia, Aiken and McDuffie counties:
- Hope and Independence Fund: Financial assistance for home modifications, assistive technology, durable medical equipment, services and more
- Adaptive Sports and Leisure: Golf, tennis and more to come
- Community Outreach Fund: Walton Foundation’s grants are boosting the regional network of disability-related programming through agencies such as Christ Community Health Services and area paratransit services
